The task for this series of car commercials was to provide CG torso and neck. The robot was a performer in a suit created by Richard Taylor (in his pre-Weta days) and human dynamo Rob Uivel.
Meticulous and exhausting manual tracking of the actor’s movements was needed to lock the CG geometry to the greenscreen midriff. Pixel Perfect elements were composited in Harry by Fiona Webb at Electric Pencil.
