Matchmoving by eye: Before auto-solving software, you had to know cameras, lenses and cinematography. You also had to take meticulous measurements of the location and setups.
Even with all that, this was still a tough job – and locking on to the sub-pixel film weave was beyond me. The cables were built programmatically over animated cross-sections.
