TV2 (New Zealand’s second television channel) needed a station ID with a comedy theme. Groucho masks on a trampoline was the brainchild of my brother Michael, who directed this spot.
Custom code was written to animate the bouncing and spinning, and “flying wallenda”-type vocals were provided by us along with sound designer Angus McNaughton. Frank Wegerhoff animated the shuddering jack-in-the-box opening in 3D Studio Max.
